"Ran-Chan...please, just hang on for me."

This is just a scene between Ran and her mother when Ran was a baby. Her mothers name is Kaya, whom is named after the Shinto Goddess of Herbs. Ran was a very sick baby, who really wasn't supposed to live at all. So this is just Kaya crying over her fatally ill child.
